This website is a Graduate Level Library Science project designed to explore the challenges of cataloging non-traditional items for libraries. The information found on this website is researched and based in Library Good Practices, however all representations are fictitious, or borrowed from other organizations. This website is meant for educational purposes only.
We, the designers, chose to study the practice of cataloging seeds and plants in a community lending setting because we feel passionately that it is a worthwhile service to offer. Our nation’s heritage can be traced back through its agriculture, and seed libraries would help keep the diversity alive.
